SPECIAL EDUCATION FACILITATOR
JOB OPENING FOR INTERNAL CERTIFIED EMPLOYEES ONLY


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:
    
1.    Furnish an appropriate special education teaching certificate.
2.    Have knowledge of IEP PRO.
3.    Have an excellent knowledge of the computer.
4.    Be able to work effectively with parents, students, and other school personnel.
5.    Be qualified to work with “severe” special needs students.

Responsibilities:
    
1.    Be responsible for severe students in Beaver County School District.
2.    Coordinate special services for severe students.
3.    Help gather information for state reports for at-risk students.
4.    Work with identification of “at-risk” students using CRT and
       UBSCT data and provide interventions to help these students.
5.    Work with all records and compliance issues.
6.    Work with special education teachers in all Beaver County Schools.
7.    Communicate and cooperate with other professional staff.
8.    Other responsibilities as assigned by the district.
