QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have an administrative/supervisory license.
- Must hold a Masters degree or equivalent
- Elementary license preferred.
- Evidence of ability to implement and administer research
proven reading/literacy programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strong background in reading and literacy.
- Expertise in assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of
programs, curriculum, and instruction and the ability to make changes,
which will enhance student learning.
- Ability to create a climate that is conducive to learning,
demonstrate concern and caring of students, staff, and patrons.
- Assist in implementing effective instructional practices, observe
and evaluate teachers to insure goals and outcomes are consistent with
school, district, and state guidelines.
- Provide shared leadership with an excellent professional and
classified staff and provide continuing in-service for staff
improvement.
- Have a working knowledge of different classroom and school-wide
discipline strategies, and models
- Posses strong problem solving skills.
- Communicate well and work effectively with students, staff,
parents, district office staff, and administrators.
- Become a member of the Beaver County School District
administrative team.
- Be knowledgeable of fiscal management procedures.
- Maintain a clean and attractive campus.
