QUALIFICATIONS:
    
  1.  Must have an administrative/supervisory license.
  2.  Must hold a Masters degree or equivalent
  3.  Elementary license preferred.
  4.  Evidence of ability to implement and administer research proven reading/literacy programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Strong background in reading and literacy.
  2. Expertise in assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of programs, curriculum, and instruction and the ability to make changes, which will enhance student learning.
  3. Ability to create a climate that is conducive to learning, demonstrate concern and caring of students, staff, and patrons.
  4. Assist in implementing effective instructional practices, observe and evaluate teachers to insure goals and outcomes are consistent with school, district, and state guidelines.
  5. Provide shared leadership with an excellent professional and classified staff and provide continuing in-service for staff improvement.
  6. Have a working knowledge of different classroom and school-wide discipline strategies, and models        
  7. Posses strong problem solving skills.
  8. Communicate well and work effectively with students, staff, parents, district office staff, and administrators.
  9. Become a member of the Beaver County School District administrative team.
  10. Be knowledgeable of fiscal management procedures.
  11. Maintain a clean and attractive campus.
